The SeaChange micro web app
A browser add-on that quietly shows you when a local shop carries what you’re viewing online.
The SeaChange micro web app is a lightweight browser add-on. When you’re looking at a product on a big e-commerce site — Amazon, Walmart, iHerb, and others — it quietly checks whether a nearby independent shop carries the same item, and shows it right there on the page.
- No tab-switching — the local match appears next to what you’re already viewing
- See the store, distance, and whether the item is in stock
- Tap through to the store’s page to get directions or add it to your list
It’s being built for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (on Mac, iPhone, and iPad), and is rolling out in Autumn 2026. Want to know when it’s ready? Sign up on our for-shoppers page.
You’ll also see a quick prompt to add it right from Find Local. On a phone the mobile app is still coming — you can join the waitlist there and we’ll let you know the moment it’s ready.
