Store Owner Addendum

This Addendum applies to any business that operates a store on SeaChange Local. It supplements — and does not replace — our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where this Addendum conflicts with the general Terms for matters specific to operating a store, this Addendum controls.
1. Who this applies to
You accept this Addendum when you create a SeaChange Local account intending to operate a store, and again when you set up your store. "You" means the business and the individual accepting on its behalf, who represents they are authorized to bind the business.
2. Accurate inventory & pricing
- You will keep your product, pricing, and stock information accurate and current.
- You will not knowingly misrepresent product availability, price, or condition to shoppers who discover your store through SeaChange Local.
- Inventory shown to consumers is provided in good faith; you understand it may not reflect real-time conditions and you remain responsible for honoring your own listings.
3. Integrations & data feeds
- You are responsible for maintaining valid credentials for any POS, e-commerce, or other system you connect, and for the accuracy of data those systems send to SeaChange Local.
- You authorize SeaChange Local to read inventory and related data from systems you connect, solely to operate the Service for you.
4. Your data & confidentiality
Your catalog, pricing, supplier, and stock data remain yours. As described in the Terms (§5) and Privacy Policy, your data is isolated to your account, never sold, and never shared with other stores or brands without your explicit consent. You can export or delete it at any time from your account settings.
5. Acceptable use as a store
- You will operate a real, lawful business and provide a verifiable physical address.
- You will not create listings for businesses you do not own or control.
- You will not use the Service to mislead consumers or harm competitors.
6. Public profile
If you choose to make your store profile public, you authorize SeaChange Local to display your store name, location, hours, specialties, and product availability to shoppers. You control whether your profile is public, and you can take it offline at any time.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or remove a store that violates this Addendum or the Terms — for example, by repeatedly misrepresenting availability or operating a fraudulent listing. You may close your store and delete your data at any time.
8. Changes to this Addendum
We may update this Addendum from time to time. We'll notify active store accounts by email before material changes take effect, and may ask you to re-accept.
