Writing product descriptions

Open any product and use the Description section to tell shoppers about it — ingredients, sourcing, how to use it, why you stock it. A built-in editor lets you add:

• Bold, italic, and underlined text
• Bulleted and numbered lists
• Links to more information

Your description appears on the product’s public page for shoppers. If you connect Square or Shopify, descriptions from those systems import automatically — and a description you write by hand is never overwritten by an empty one from your POS.

💡 Descriptions are cleaned automatically for safety, so you can paste from another site without worrying about broken formatting.
